Does the church pay bank fees when I give online via Credit Card?

Yes, the church pays bank fees of approximately 2.5% on card donations made via the Church Center app.

Are there giving options where the church doesn’t pay bank fees?

Yes, you can give by e-transfer (instructions below), or by setting up a Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD). You can also give via cash or cheque during the worship service by using the envelopes in the chair back.  Please clearly print your name and mailing address so that we can record your donation in order to provide an accurate charitable donation receipt at the end of the year.

What is Pre-Authorized Debit and how do I set it up?

You can set up a pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) authorizing Hope Church Mississauga to withdraw your donation according to your instructions.  The dates of these withdrawals are limited to Weekly on Fridays, or the 1st, 15th, and/or 30th of the month.  The service fees paid on PAD donations are approximately 2.5% less that those paid on Credit Card donations. How do I give by e-transfer ?

  • Add Hope Church Mississauga as a new e-transfer recipient with the email address  Skip setting a security question as Hope Church Mississauga has Auto Deposit set up.
  • As you make the transfer, select the recipient Hope Church Mississauga (that you set up in Step 1).
  • IMPORTANT : All donations given via e-transfer will be to Hope Church Mississauga (HCM). If you intend to give all or a portion of your gift towards Hope Church Toronto North (HCTN), please indicate this in the message section of the e-transfer.  When donating for the first time by e-transfer, please provide your full name and mailing address so we can process your Annual Charitable Donation receipt.  We realized some online bank services limit comments to only 40 characters so if needed please send a separate e-mail with this information to

Fiscal Year

The Fiscal year at Hope Church Mississauga (HCM) runs from September 1 – August 31.

On  September 1, 2020, the fiscal year was changed from a calendar year (Jan.1 to Dec.31) to align with the ministry year (Sept.1 – Aug.31). To facilitate this change, HCM had a shorter eight-month fiscal year in 2020, from January – August 2020.  September 1, 2020 was the start of Fiscal Year 2021.

Will I receive a contribution statement?

Your historical giving will be available online for you to view at any time.  Annual Charitable Donation Receipts will be available before the end of February for the previous year donations.  Click below for instructions on how to view your giving history and download your giving receipts.
